Due to the high demand for psychiatric services within the senior community, partnerships with assisted living communities, nursing homes, and independent living communities are our primary focus. By providing telemedicine services to these communities, the need for transportation, which is often times a barrier to patients receiving appropriate psychiatric care, is eliminated.

We collaborate with multiple elements of the facility:

 

Nursing staff:

- Schedule appointments

- Answer patient care questions

- Keep current on patient health information

Medical supervisors:

- Discuss assessments and recommendations

- Set up to make sure they work well with the patient's other health treatments or health issues.

- Through initial and follow-up appointments that allow the patients to become more familiar and comfortable with the nurse practitioner that will be providing the repeated
